Open Studio
Open studio time is independent time to come in and practice, continue working on projects, and create. You’ll have access to the wheels, slab roller, glazes (with clay purchase), and class tools. If you are currently registered for a class, you get complimentary open studio time!
How It Works
Once you have completed a class with us or have been approved with sufficient experience through contacting info.marinpottery@gmail.com, you can choose to purchase a monthly subscription open studio pass. This allows for unlimited time during our open studio times.
Clay can be purchases separately in our shop page, cost of clay includes glazing and firing fees.
If you are not in a class, you must bring your supplies with you. This includes your in progress projects, tools, and any other supplies you bring. If you would like storage space, look into our membership option!
*If you purchase without prior approval or are not a past student, you will be refunded minus a $50 fee

Monday, beginning 8/25/25, 3pm-6pm
Thursday, beginning 8/19/25, 5:30pm-8:30pm
Friday, 12:45pm-2:45pm
Saturday, 10am-1pm
*Open studio time can vary depending on staffing and current class or camp schedules.
Open Studio Monthly Pass is a 30 day pass and allows for independent studio use during our open studio hours. Open studio holders must have experience working with ceramics, understand how to use equipment independently, know how to clean clay safely, and have an understanding of what can be fired in a midfire kiln firing.

Monday 2:30-5:30
Tuesday 3:30-6:00
Thursday 5:30-8:30
Friday 12:45-2:45
Saturday 10:00-1:00
