Wednesday 3:30-4:30 ages 4-7
Handbuilding and Ceramics - Students will get their hands messy in this creative class. We’ll focus on a variety of handbuilding techniques to sculpt both functional and imaginative pieces of art.Throughout the sessions, students will engage in hands-on learning, mastering fundamental skills such as pinch pot, coil-building, slab construction, and glazing. Each week, they will tackle new challenges and projects that enhance their understanding of clay as a versatile medium for artistic expression.
Wednesday, 4:45-6:15 ages 8+
Wheel-Throwing and Ceramics - Welcome to our Ceramics Class designed for budding artists aged 8+! This course offers an immersive journey into the world of pottery and ceramics, blending traditional techniques with creative exploration.
Throughout the sessions, students will engage in hands-on learning, mastering fundamental skills such as pinch pot, coil-building, slab construction, wheel throwing, and glazing. Each week, they will tackle new challenges and projects that enhance their understanding of clay as a versatile medium for artistic expression. Wheel Throwing will be incorporated throughout the session.
Friday, 4:15-5:45 ages 12+
Wheel-Throwing and Ceramics - Welcome to our Ceramics Class designed for artists aged 12+! This course offers an immersive journey into the world of pottery and ceramics, blending traditional techniques with creative exploration. Our preteens and teens will get to be introduced to techniques while also being self guided, allowing them to direct their own creative endeavors.
Throughout the sessions, students will engage in hands-on learning, mastering fundamental skills such as pinch pot, coil-building, slab construction, wheel throwing, and glazing. Each week, they will tackle new challenges and projects that enhance their understanding of clay as a versatile medium for artistic expression. Wheel Throwing will be incorporated throughout the session.
