Pottery Classes
Our pottery classes are taught by people who are passionate about clay! We create an inviting and inclusive environment, comfortable for folks to explore - even if you’ve never worked with clay before.
While registered in classes, students get access to our drop in times to come in as much as they like, 12 lbs of clay, firing, and glazing. Additional clay is available for purchase. Once a class has been completed, you can apply for our membership and get even more access to creating.

3 Week Mini Series
We’re creating a mini session all about gifts, Hand-Built Holidays! With all the busyness that happens during this time of year, hands on creating will be the perfect escape for a few hours of zen.
Monday Night Wheel 3 Week:

This mini session is all about the wheel and glazing. We’ll throw for the first two weeks of class and glaze our items on the last night. Pickup will be just in time for the holidays! With all the busyness that happens during this time of year, hands on creating will be the perfect escape for a few hours of zen.

Tuesday Night Tableware

Wednesday Night Candles!

This three week mini series is all about candles. We’ll be sculpting pinch pot votives, creating candle stick holders, and getting to glaze. Bring in some warmth this winter!
Week 1: Pinch pot and slab built candle votives

Week 3: Glaze and Pour candles

6 Week Classes
Monday Night Wheel:

January 5, 12, 26, Feb 2, Feb 9
*5 Week session* This class is all about the wheel! Beginner and Intermediate welcome. We’ll review centering, throwing a cylinder, trimming, and glazing in this wheel throwing series. Whether this is your first time with clay or you’re getting back into pottery, this class is a great way to find creative community.
Class includes access to open studio time, 12lbs of clay, glaze, and firing.

Tuesday Afternoon Beginner/Intermediate Ceramics

This 6 week class is a blend of wheel throwing and hand building. We introduce techniques each class and provide the freedom for individuals to choose how they would like to work with clay - both wheel throwing and handbuilding are available. If you’ve tried clay or taken a class but feel like you’d still like more guidance and want to continue learning, this is for you!
Once completed, students have the option of becoming a studio member and getting all the perks! (Members have full access to the studio and equipment, kiln use, glaze use, and discounts on classes and workshops).
Class includes 12lbs of b-mix, glazing, firing, and access to open studio time.

Tuesday Evening Intro to Ceramics

Our 6 week intro series is an excellent way to get acclimated to clay. (5 classes w/ holiday) We introduce both wheel throwing and hand building techniques so you can get a taste of it all! This course covers: Wheel throwing, trimming, hand building (including slab and coil techniques), intro to surface design using underglazes, and glazing.
Once completed, students have the option of becoming a studio member and getting all the perks! (Members have full access to the studio, kiln use, glaze use, and storage space).
Class includes 12lbs of b-mix, glazing, firing, and access to open studio time.

Wednesday Morning Intro to Ceramics

We keep class size small to be able to work with students and provide the support each needs to create their vision.
