Evening Pottery Classes
Monday Night Wheel Summer Session:
6:30-8:30pm
June 2, 9, 16, 23
This class is all about the wheel! Beginner and Intermediate welcome. We’ll review centering, throwing a cylinder, trimming, and glazing in this 4 week mini series. Whether this is your first time with clay or you’re getting back into pottery, this class is a great way to find creative community.
Class includes 12lbs of clay, glaze, and firing.
Hand-Building Wind Down Wednesday:
6:30-8:30pm

Join us for some relaxing handbuilding each week. Drop in by the week or sign up for the whole session for a discounted rate! Schedule of projects offered is suggestion only, students are always welcome to work on hand-building projects of their own choice.
-Drop-in students will choose a glaze for our talented staff to dip their piece in. Full session students will get to learn glazing in addition to hand-building projects.

Tuesday Night Wheel Throwing 102:

Current Session: April 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20, 27
If you’ve had a taste for the wheel and want to level up your skills, this class is for you! In this wheel throwing class we’ll begin to hone our skills and throw intentionally. Topics will include throwing a jar and lid, stretching a belly and collaring a neck for forms, creating a pitcher, puling handles, and more! If there is something you have been wanting to explore or master let us know and we can incorporate that into our session.
Class includes 12 lbs of clay and access to Marin Pottery drop in hours while registered for class. Additional clay available for purchase through Marin Pottery.
Requirements: Must be able to center 2 pounds of clay and have experience throwing. Ages 16+
