As a potter I have always wanted to try a different body clay before purchasing larger amounts, I have had so many bags just sit for years. This is the perfect match, with a small amount of clay to play with, large enough to hand build with or to throw with on the potter’s wheel. Once you love it purchase larger amounts, or if you don’t like it, no big financial loss!

Purchase online and we will deliver or you may pick it up at your convenience. Each 2 lb. bag is priced with kiln firing included. If you have your own kiln, awesome just reach out and we can bill you separately.

Speckled Buff midfire stoneware clay: Light and dark speckles with medium sand and grog. Absorption less than 1%. Shrinkage approximately 11%

TerraCotta Clay: Formulated for better plasticity and workability when hand-building, throwing, or sculpting. Fire 06-6. At 06 color is earthen red-orange color with about 8% absorption, making it an ideal general-purpose clay with medium grog and sand. At cone 5/6 it becomes a warm, brick-red stoneware suitable for functional ware, about 1% absorption 9% shrinkage.

Laguna B-Mix: Smooth porcelain texture is heavenly to throw without the plasticity of porcelain allowing for more throwing passes. Fires to a cream color in oxidation. Shrinkage 12% average. Water Absorption 2.3%.
